Summer Abel is a Senior Associate at McCabe Russell, PA. Summer earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. As a law student, Summer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Laurie A. White in the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Prior to joining the McCabe Russell team, Summer practiced criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender in Orlando, Florida. She has experience in all aspects of criminal litigation and has tried numerous cases before a jury. Upon relocating to Washington, D.C. in 2018, Summer strengthened her litigation skills in Federal Court where she prosecuted Vaccine Injury cases before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Summer is an experienced litigator with a proven history of dedication to clients, serving as both an advocate and a counselor through all stages of litigation. She is passionate about helping her clients overcome insurmountable circumstances and works tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome in every case.
When not in the office, Summer enjoys playing board games, watching scary movies, and spending time with her wife and son, and their two dogs, Deacon and Pepper.
