Cathy is thrilled to be a part of the McCabe Russell Family. As the Chief of Staff, she handles client intake, human resources, marketing, firm operations, growth and strategic planning, the development of metrics, data analysis, special projects and events. On occasion she is also the firm’s Chef of Staff.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) and has completed professional level studies in French culinary techniques. She has a unique background that started in human resources in highly technical classified organizations and moved into a demanding culinary career. She has worked with notable area chefs in many types of kitchens, has taught various culinary techniques to both professional and recreational students (from ages 5 and up), catered all size events and worked as a professional Chef.
Family, friends, food, entertaining, travel and reading are favorite pastimes. She is a proud and sometimes bossy big sister to her 5 brothers and sisters. She loves spending time with her nieces, nephew and cousins making special memories often centered around their favorite foods. Her best and favorite accomplishment is being married to her best friend Andrew for over 18 years.
