Welcome to the McCabe Russell Family, Lauren S. Keiser!

All of us at McCabe Russell, PA would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest Associate Attorney, Lauren S. Keiser. Lauren joined our family in July 2018, and we could not be more excited to have her with us. She will focus her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, child support and asset division, bringing with her the same level of professionalism and dignity that has already earned her accolades from former clients and colleagues alike.

Empowering clients in Maryland

Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2007. She then enrolled in the University of Baltimore Law School, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2010. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar that same year.

During her time at law school, Lauren participated in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic, an invitation-only organization that offered law students – under the supervision of licensed attorneys – the opportunity to work directly with clients in the community, as well as to participate in ongoing justice reform projects and a weekly seminar with experienced family lawyers.

Lauren also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Martin P. Welch in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Judicial interns work with both law clerks and judges, and contribute not only to the legal research required to render decisions, but also to the preparation and revision of judicial orders. This type of real-world experience, combined with her work at the Family Law Clinic, gave Lauren a strong foundation on which to build her own style, and to determine what kind of lawyer she truly wanted to be.

Upon graduation, Lauren worked as an associate in a boutique family law firm in Montgomery County. During her time there, she was named to the Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2014 and 2015.
