About Victoria Chapman

Before joining Divorce and Child Custody Lawyers, Victoria served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Cheryl A. McCally in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. That experience gave her firsthand insight into family law litigation and courtroom procedure, which continues to inform her work with clients today. She approaches each case with a focus on preparation, communication, and practical problem-solving.

Victoria Chapman earned her J.D., cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law, where she served on the American University Law Review and worked as a student attorney in the Women and the Law Clinic. During law school, she also completed internships with the Department of Justice, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office Special Victim’s Division, and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.

Her legal career has already earned recognition within the Maryland legal community. Victoria has been named a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2024 through 2026. She has also been active in the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Inns of Court throughout the years.

Victoria has earned a reputation within the firm for balancing strategic advocacy with heartfelt compassion for clients facing uncertainty surrounding their finances, children, and future.
